I don't say this often, especially in today's world but THIS FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!!! I came here yesterday for the first time passing through. I ordered the fajita burrito with chicken as they were out of steak. Every bite i took made me want to stop eating because it was so good. This was hands down the best food I've had in a very long time anywhere. I'm a chef myself so for this to impress me is crazy. I will 1000000% come back here everytime I am in the area. Great job!!

Garcia's has been a cornerstone of the Northshore community for over 20 years — not just a place to eat, but a place where memories are made. My parents Connie and Steve have poured their hearts into this business, serving fresh, high-quality food every single day to a wonderfully diverse and loyal clientele. Running a high-volume restaurant is no small task, and they do it with passion, grit, and love. Unfortunately, not everyone understands what it takes to keep a place like this running for decades — and some reviews so blatantly reflect a lack of that understanding. To be clear: BOTH of my parents own and operate this restaurant TOGETHER. And anyone who knows them knows their kindness, dedication, and how much they care about every single guest. My parents are so proud to be part of this community and grateful for everyone who continues to support our family’s dream, and I am equally as proud to be their daughter. PS. Get the turkey street pizza, a texas swirl margarita, and thank me later!!

I wish I had tried Garcias out earlier. The service was great. The ambiance in the dining room was fantastic. The food was delicious and came in huge portions. This might become my go-to for Mexican food.

Hubby and I stopped for a late lunch and Garcia’s never disappoints. We finally remembered to share because we always eat too much. The Steak Fajitas were fantastic and our server was fantastic! Happy Saturday to us!

I dropped in for lunch during a quick trip to NOLA. I can't wait to go back!! The food was amazing! Apparently the recipes originated a few generations ago but they've been creatively updated with modern day flavor profiles. I tried a little bit of everything (I was sooooo full!!!) But my favorite item hands down were the Chiles Relleno. And dont get me started on the bar!!!! They have a fully loaded bar with a bourbon of the week!!! Who would have thought that from a Mexican restaurant, but its a great feature! I would recommend Garcia's to anybody and would ask that you invite me along!

Had someone that were there bring me a Beef Mexican Pizza and I'm telling you, of all the places I've been, it was AMAZING!! Guacamole, Sour Cream. Onions, tomatoes, jalepenos, etc. It was the best pizza I've ever had!! It's HUGE TOO!!! It comes in like a Medium Pizza Hut Box, that's how big it is!! LOVE IT!! Keep in mind in the photos I had already started spreading it around and eating it!

Great food and even better selection of bourbon. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I will be making this a regular spot from now on. We enjoyed the sampler platter and we're not disappointed, the desert was beyond incredible, I can't wait to explore more of this menu and hopefully more of their bourbon selections. The bourbon was served in a glencairn although they do offer to serve on the rocks if you prefer. Overall this was a very positive experience and potentially one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Northshore. This is also a family friendly atmosphere and a great place to take the whole family.
